My Passport Elite is an ultra portable hard drive that comes in capacities of 320 GB, 500 GB and 640 GB and is offered in 3 colors, Metallic Red, Metallic Blue and Charcoal Metallic. It features an illuminated capacity gauge, drive lock indicator, a convenient grab-and-go USB dock, automatic and continuous backup with WD SmartWare software, and 256-bit hardware-based encryption.
My Book Studio is a high-performance desktop external hard drive that is available in capacities of 500 GB, 1 TB, 1.5 TB and 2 TB. It features a customizable e-label that is always visible so users always know the contents of the drive, a FireWire 800 interface designed for Mac users and creative professionals, TimeMachine compatibility, automatic and continuous backup with WD SmartWare software, and 256-bit hardware-based encryption.
My Book Elite desktop external hard drive is offered in capacities of 1 TB, 1.5 TB and 2 TB. It also features a customizable e-label, automatic and continuous backup with WD SmartWare software and 256-bit hardware-based encryption.
All Western Digital hard drives are available now. Prices for the My Passport Elite are $119.99 (320GB), $159.99, (500 GB) and $169.99 (640 GB). My Book Studio ranges from $149.99 to $299.99 depending on capacity. My Book Elite drives range from $169.99 to $279.99 depending on capacity.
