Sony announced new retail and professional photofinishing solutions and products, including Sony’s PictureStation and SnapLab digital photo kiosk with Sony’s UP-DR200 and UP-DR80 digital photo printers and the UPX-C300 Digital Passport and ID printing system.
The new PictureStation systems offer customers a range of photo prints from 3.5×5 up to 8×10 inch enlargement and users can send their photos from their home to the retailer for pick-up, create online photobooks, or order photo gifting products. Sony’s UP-DR80 photo printer that is used in the PictureStation is also receiving acclaim by the professional and event photographer as a stand-alone printer. The portable UP-DR80 offers glossy and ProMatte finishes with fast print speeds can print in a range of sizes, from 4×8 photo greeting cards to 8×10 and 8×12 portraits. Sony’s UPX-C300 Digital Passport and ID printing system can be found in national retailers, convenience stores, leading drug store chains, and government agencies.
