Sigma has announced the DP2x digital camera, an updated version of the DP2. The new DP2x now includes AFE (Analog Front End) that converts color data to a digital signal producing highly colored images and high speed auto focus with the new AF algorithm. The DP2x also features 14-megapixels, a 24.2mm f/2.8 large aperture lens with Super Multi Layer Coating, a 2.5-inch LCD, TRUE II image processing engine, RAW format, QVGA (320×240) video recording, Evaluative, Center Weighted Average and Spot Metering modes, a Quick Set menu, manual focus, a pop-up flash, and a dedicated hot shoe.
Pricing and availability for the Sigma DP2x has not been announced.
