Today, Panasonic announced the new Lumix DMC-GH2 hybrid touch-control Digital Single Lens Micro camera that is compatible with the Micro Four Thirds System standard.
The Lumix DMC-GH2 features a 16.05-megapixel multi-aspect LIVE MOS sensor, 3D shooting capability with the newly announced Lumix G 12.5mm f/12 lens, a 3.0-inch LCD with Multi Aspect Wide Screen LVF (Live View Finder), Venus Engine FHD processor, Touch auto focus (AF), 22 shooting modes, My Color mode (Expressive, Retro, Pure, Elegant, Monochrome, Dynamic Art, and Silhouette), Full-time Live View function, and Panasonic’s iA (Intelligent Auto) mode.
Video recording capabilities include full 1920 x 1080 HD video recording with a dedicated record button, 10 shooting modes such as Cinema mode, Variable Movie mode (80, 160, 200 and 300 percent), and HDMI output.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 will be available in December for $899.95 (Body only), $999.95 (Body with Lumix G Vario 14-42 mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S. lens), and $1,499.95 (Body with Lumix G Vario HD 14-140mm f/4.0-5.8 ASPH./MEGA O.I.S. lens) in black and silver colors.
