Today, Olympus announced two new SP ultra-zoom digital cameras, the SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ.
The SP-800UZ features 14-megapixels, a 30x wide-angle optical-zoom lens with f2.8 (W) / f5.6 (T) wide-angle (equivalent of 28-840mm focal length), 720p HD video capture in 16:9 wide recording format, a 3-inch advanced high-resolution LCD, AF Tracking, Magic Filter with Pop Art, Pin Hole, Fish-Eye, and Drawing, Beauty Mode, Shadow Adjustment Technology, Dual Image Stabilization, Face Detection up to 16 faces, Intelligent Auto, In-Camera Panorama, TruePic III Image Processor, a Li-Ion rechargeable battery and charger and SD Compatibility.
The SP-600UZ features 12-megapixels, a 15x wide-angle optical-zoom lens (equivalent of 28-420mm), a 2.7-inch LCD, 720p HD video capture, AF Tracking, Magic Filter with Pop Art, Pin Hole, Fish-Eye, and Drawing, Beauty Mode, Shadow Adjustment Technology, Dual Image Stabilization, Face Detection up to 16 faces, Intelligent Auto, In-Camera Panorama, TruePic III Image Processor, four AA alkaline battery power and SD Compatibility.
The Olympus SP-800UZ and SP-600UZ will be available in March 2010 for $349.99 and $249.99, respectively.
