Olympus has announced three new digital cameras to its FE series, the FE-3000, FE-3010 and FE-5010. The FE-3000 features 10 megapixels of resolution, 3x Optical Zoom, and Intelligent Auto. The super-slim FE-3010 features 12 megapixels of resolution, Intelligent Auto, and Advanced Face Detection. The FE-5010 features 12 megapixels of resolution, 5x Optical Zoom, a 2.7-inch, high resolution LCD, Dual Image Stabilization, and Advanced Face Detection.
The FE-3000 is available in light blue, black and silver, the FE-3010 is available in magenta, black and silver, and the FE-5010 is available in plum, navy blue and black. The FE-5010 and FE-3000 will be available in January 2009 for $189.99 and $139.99, respectively. The FE-3010 will be available in March 2009 for $149.99.

Olympus FE-3010
This the worst camera I have ever had in my life. I thought it was going to be at least halfway decent at taking pictures but I was wrong. There might as well be no “auto” setting on it because every picture that you take has to be switched to a certain type of shoot mode and a lot of the times it still wouldn’t take good pictures. I was highly upset with the product and was also upset that I bought it because it was a waste of money. I just bought a Canon camera and comparing the auto mode right when you turn the camera on and taking a picture, they were not even close in the quality. The Olympus camera took a dark blurry picture and the Canon camera took a perfect picture. I would not recommend this camera to anyone AT ALL. It was ridiculous and should not be able to be sold anywhere. Unless you actually like waiting 10 minutes to try to get the right picture and then it still turning out looking horrible, don’t get this camera!
I like Olympus FE-3010. This camera is not very heavy, very well designed, reasonably priced and very user friendly. People will be satisfied with the availability of three colors- pink, black and silver. The picture quality is not very good, it lacks sharpness.
