Gift Certificates
What’s that? You waited until the last minute and you don’t have a gift for your photographer yet? That’s terrible. It’s ok, I’ve got a plan – gift certificates. You can buy them online from a good camera dealer like B&H Photo or Adorama; you can buy one from your local pro camera dealer; or you can make one yourself and pledge whatever amount you like. Gift certificates are actually great gifts for photographers. If you can’t afford to buy your photographer the $1500 digital SLR package they’ve been scheming for, you can at least contribute, right? A gift certificate from a camera dealer says you know where a photographer’s passion lies and you’d like to let them decide how to use the money. It’s really a very thoughtful gift – even if you did wait until the last minute.

Thanks for the write-up!
Thought you and your readers would want to know about a great SALE on the Lightscoop at Adorama, our EXCLUSIVE online reseller.
Happy holidays!
Now, that looks like the PERFECT camera accessory which I had been dreaming about. Reasonably priced too. Thanks very much John for posting this article!!!
This is a great idea John! Now I can just point my wife to this link for ideas while still keeping a tiny little bit of surprise in Christmas.
Man, this is great! I always carry my cleaning cloth in my linty linty pokets
Great list John. A couple of inexpensive ideas that come to mine are a good rocket blower and a hot shoe bubble level. Both very useful and inexpensive.
