Today was declared Film Photography Day by the fine folks at Lomography. Of course, they have a vested interest in having you shoot film since they’re one of the few companies left that is solidly into film photography. But that’s ok because it’s fun to shoot film and this is a good excuse for those of us who are 99.99999% digital to get out the film camera and blow through a roll.
I wanted to shoot some film today but when I looked around the house I discovered that I had 35mm film but no 35mm film camera; and medium format cameras but no medium format film. So I had to content myself with taking pictures of a couple of film cameras and one of those rolls of 35mm film. That Polaroid iZone camera did have film in it but it’s ancient and no image developed. But I tried.
