I haven’t used Photo Mechanic but I think this offer is too good to pass up. In other conversations on Photo Mechanic vs other software, I’ve been told by a few photographers that Photo Mechanic is faster and more efficient than Lightroom for sorting and tagging images. So it looks like there is room in the RAW workflow for both programs.
