Adobe has announced a new update for Lightroom. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.2 adds RAW support for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon PowerShot G10, Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, Leica D-LUX 4, Panasonic DMC-G1, Panasonic DMC-FX150, and the Panasonic DMC-FZ28. Camera Profiles have been added to the Calibration window in the Develop module. The update also addresses some Lightroom 2 bugs, including:
- Improved launch speed for Catalogs with hundreds of top-level folders
- Improved performance of Graduated Filter and Brush tools
- Removed Print Sharpening edge artifact problems
- Increased number of characters allowed for Web gallery labels
- Addressed image quality issues with Slideshow export
