Today, Canon announced its fifth annual Canon in the Parks Photo Contest that will run from May 17 to September 30, 2010. The theme for this year’s contest is “Nature” and submitted photos must be taken at a park or monument in the United States. The winning photographers from each division (teen division ages 13-17 and adult division ages 18 and older) will be announced in December.
Prizes Include:
- Grand Prize (1 Adult and 1 Teen): A 5 day/4 night trip to a U.S. National Park of his or her choice, within the lower 48 states, Canon EOS 5D Mark II/EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Kit and Pixma Pro9500 Mark II Photo Printer
- 1st Place (1 Adult and 1 Teen): Canon EOS 5D Mark II/EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Kit and Pixma Pro9500 Mark II Photo Printer
- 2nd Place (1 Adult and 1 Teen): Canon EOS 7D Body, Canon EF-S 17-55mm IS USM Lens and Pixma Pro9500 Mark II Photo Printer
- 3rd Place (1 Adult and 1 Teen): Canon EOS Rebel T2i Body, Canon EF-S 15-85mm IS USM Lens and Pixma Pro9000 Mark II Photo Printer
- 4th Place (6 Adult and 6 Teen): Canon Powershot G11
