AF28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 LD Aspherical (IF)
Strength:
Versatile. Good for people who do not want to fumble around with several lenses.
Weakness:
minimum focussing distance too high (compare to standard wide lenses). Vignetting. Not too sharp. Distortion high at the extreme (28mm/300mm) settings. Not recommended if you plan on doing very large prints of your pictures. If you do not want to spend too much money on your equipment (read: only one lens), but still want to have all options, this might be for you. Remember: you get what you pay for.
