EF 20mm f/2.8 USM
Strength:
Good Wide angle lens for both landscape and "micro", for instance shooting dragonflies from the distance of 25 cm. Lens hood required, and no filters or only best quality filters recommend to use. For the described above "micro" photography EF 35 mm f/2.0 lens could give same or better results as the EF 35 mm f/2.0 lens have magnification of almost (1:4) life size. Sigma 24 mm f/2.8 Macro (1:4) are not bad as well.
Weakness:
none The lens are a great challenge to learn creative photography. Give satisfactory results. Don't waste Customer Service not yet Similar Products Used: no |

EF 20mm f/2.8 USM
Strength:
Nice wide angle prime. Fast focusing.
Weakness:
Minor vignetting with filter attached, prone to flare without a hood. A fast wide angle prime lens. I've been very happy with it, though I'd recommend the 17-35L zoom for the extreme wide angle and zoom ability if you are willing to spend 3x as much. At 20mm, the 17-35L and the 20 prime give similar results. Similar Products Used: 24/2.8, 28/2.8, 17-35L/2.8 |
