Accurate color rendition
Fine grain

This film is wonderful when it is printed by a professional. I personally rate this film in the studio at ASA 80 with good results. This adds a little more contrast than when it is rated higher. This is stunning film when used for pre-bridal shots. Make sure to have a quality lab print it. If you like your skin tones warm, tell your lab to print on the warm side. Otherwise, this film has a tendency to be a bit more neutral than the Gold line of film. Feel free to view bridal portraits shot with this film at: www.sandersonphoto.com. I'm always happy to answer questions.

Strength:

Great Skin Tones, Dead on colors.

Expensive!!!

This film is great for people photography. This is the first time my wife has been pleased with people pictures I have taken. Don't bother buying it if you plan on using it for any other purpose than people, but it does what it is supposed to.

It's good for portraits and ALSO for taking pictures of real estate. It mitigates the nits and peels, as it were, and makes everything look as smooth as a ...

Weakness:

Not for landscapes, except perhaps in the desert at 5pm in the shade :-)

Good when you don't want contrast. It also serves sometimes to extend flash range a bit in distance from your best centerpoint. I've taken an entire garage with it, and gotten useful exposure (I mean for nice printing) of the whole depth when I was about 15 feet outside the garage.

I've also taken house pictures with it at midnight with my 622SP and some unfortunate C cells :-)

Strength:

This is a great low contrast film, ideally suited to wedding photography because it captures fine detail in both the black of the groom's tuxedo and the contrasting white of the bride's outfit

Weakness:

Not so great for non-caucasian skin tones (particularly lighter Asian skin tones)

This is a good color portrait film.
