Strength:

great skin tone
sharp

Weakness:

only in 100 speed.

my favorite negative film in both 120 and 35 size.
its real strength is its color. the sharpness is likely no better than any pro 100 film.
apparently has an additional layer for skin color.
i can attest that its great for portraits, in which it gives a fabulous skin tone.

often use it outside for snap shots but its strength is not exploited.

bin using it for 4 years, with no complaints.

yeah!

Using recommendations found here, I set the ISO to 80 on sunny days, the ISO to 60 on cloudy days on Nikon N80. The color is stunning. I have not tried just leaving it on ISO 100 yet due to some reports here of washed out colors. That might be because you bought old film in a drugstore. I'll try leaving it on ISO 100 as soon as I have 36 shots I'm not too concerned about.

The photographs came out quite pale, dont know if the problem was with the film or with the processing lab. This was the first time i had tried this film, photos with royal gold were lot better when i clicked em last year and had used the same processing lab.

Hard to Find
Some Labs Don't Print It Too Well

Just got back prints from the local photo store and am amazed still at how beautiful skin tones look with proper lighting. Colors are not oversaturated like Superia 100. Greens are a bit strong...almost Fuji Velvia like. At only $2.97 a roll for 24 exp., it is my primary film for portraits and for sunny outdoor photos. You may want to rate it at ISO 80 for increased saturation for outdoor stuff, but I find that the standard rating is fine for my taste. Do yourself a favor and try a roll. And don't develop it at a supermarket either ;-)

Strength:

-Very fine grain
-Reacts well to mid day sun
-Great color rendition
-Easy to adapt to various conditions

Weakness:

-A bit on the expensive side

To "dull" for you? Hate to break this to you guys, but try overexposing it 1/2 a stop and you've go your self the perfect nature/landscape print film. Rate it at 100 in you've found a great portrait film. As far as print films are concern, this is the only one I use for outdoors. You just have to learn how to use it well. I don't know of any other film (print or slide) that is this versatile. But you do have to make a small effort to find this out...

Strength:

Cool, Sharp and realistic

Weakness:

Too realistic... sometimes looks dull...
VERY EXPENSIVE

It's a cool, sharp and realistic film but I prefer Fuji Superia 100 which is much more cheaper and I get better photos because the saturation is better...

Strength:

sharp!
great colors
fine grain

Weakness:

slow

somewhat expensive compared to other fuji films

This IS my color print film. This film gives you some of the sharpest images you'll ever see. The colors are bright without being plastic-looking. I don't know why some of the reviewers say this film has "dull" colors. In my experience this has not been the case. In bright sunlight, this is the best.

Okay, I took this film on a trip to the Badlands and Mount Rushmore a few years ago along with some Fuji NPS 160. I took almost identical shots with both films in the same camera with the same lens and I have to say that I was really disappointed with the color saturation of this film. The sky was washed out and gray and there was hardly any record of the change in color of the rock sediment that the Badlands are famous for. I've never used the stuff again opting for NPS 160 instead for better colors and slightly faster ISO.

Strength:

Good clean colors. Well suited for portraits.

Weakness:

Lower saturation than I like and somewhat bland for outdoor subjects.

As Kodak Supra (my outdoor print film standard) is not available for 6x7, I have been using Reala instead. Although a nice film, it doesn't have the saturation or "pop" that I get with Supra. Sharpness is less than Supra but still very good. This is based on the negative scans NOT prints. The colors are accurate. Requires some post-scan PS tweaking to get the colors saturated and some curve adjustments to boost the bland contrast.

I like this film for 6x7 outdoors better than Kodak Portra. But I'm still looking for something better.
