Purchased for around $330. I've had severe problems with red-eye. After owning this camera for 3 months, I had to return it to Wolf Camera. They finally exchanged it after I debated with them. I absolutely cannot stand this camera, but Wolf would not take it back. I've had many problems loading the film. The clerk messed with a little silver thing inside the camera and he said that it fixed the problem. Now. 6 months later, my replacement camera is doing this. My husband & I have owned many cameras (for less $) and have never had trouble loading film - it should not be this difficult. I would return this camera if there was any way possible to do it. I bought it because I was expecting a baby and knew I would have many photo opportunities - I consider it one of my biggest mistakes. Would not recommend this camera at all. Customer Service Have not tried because Wolf insists that the camera is working the way it is made to???...... Similar Products Used: I've owned Fuji & Minolta cameras that were less than $150. |

Zoomate 140
Strength:
Very light & compact. Well placed zoom & shutter buttons. Clear, sharp pictures. Fast 38-140 zoom. Easy to use.
Weakness:
Slow anti-red eye flash This camera is the perfect point-&-shoot zoom for hiking/backpacking. It is lightweight (6.7 oz with battery & film), very compact and well-designed in terms of button & flash placement. Pictures are clear and sharp. Finally, a 35 mm camera small enough to take everywhere. Similar Products Used: None |

Absolute fantastic color, depth, and clarity of this camera! FAST, FAST Zoom!
Weakness:
Learning the LCD readouts for flash selection was confusing without the manual that folds out to 7 square feet in area... It's a great starter camera compact in size that produces a really great product. Plan on about 5 rolls of "FUZZ" while getting used to it but then it's a fantastic little camera! quality, film advancing problems At first thought this was a great camera, even though exposure problems indoors was evident. Unreliable especially in low light conditions. BIG problem after several rolls were shot - Getting the film to load properly. In fact, yesterday I took this one to a birthday party where my son was a guest. Shot the first 3 shots, and heard a clicking noise as the film advanced. After taking shot #4, the camera suddenly rewound the film ! My only roll ! So, I took no more pictures. Had done this before, that is, loaded successfully with no evidence of any problems, then screwed up during film advance. Jeez ! So I ordered a Leica C1 same day, can;t wait till it gets here ! Light weight, very compact, good images when it works.
Weakness:
Difficult to load film, severe focus problems. This is a fragile camera. I am very disappointed with this camera, to the point of tossing it in the trash. It was always hard to load, but I could live with that. Out of focus prints I can't tolerate, and I am not about to go through the repair hassle again. Based on reviews and prior Canon experiences I am replacing it with a Sure Shot 120 Classic. Customer Service Repaired once, broke again 6 months later Similar Products Used: None |

Very hard to load This camera is very expensive garbage. I've encountered others with the same camera who all agree. The picture quality ranges from bad to adequate. It usually takes two or three tries to load the film, and roughly one out of every five to seven rolls the film gets stuck in the camera and the only way to get it out is to open the back, expose the film, and carefully pull it out. I've stuck with it for two years because it was expensive, but I'm going to replace it with an Olympus now. Do yourself a favor and avoid this camera like the plague. Oh, where to start??? How about lousy pictures. DREK DREK DREK. This camera takes lousy fuzzy pictures. I tried upping the film to 800 ASA, and they still came out blurred. Also, the lense cover stopped closing after about 5 rolls of film. Take out the film and battery, and put this camera in your aquarium for the fish to play with. Or give it to your kid to take apart to see what is in a camera. Don't buy this junk! Yashica should be ashamed for foisting this 'product' on the public.
