Cheap , sharp lens ,
decent exposures.I have tried several other cheap compacts including the Olympus Stylus and have always been disappointed with the results . I traveled for 3 months in Thailand with this camera and I was very impressed. The lens is sharp with good contrast.

small viewfinder , no exposure compensation or manual overide . Best exposures in 'average' lighting conditions.
Short battery life

There's no denying this is a cheap no frills camera. Short on features and quite basic, but it does take good photos . The strong points of this camera is it's sharp lens and bargain price . I usually use Nikon SLR's but I like to keep this camera in my bag for those quick grab shots .
