Strength:
A lot of bang for the buck, plus a Nikon brand.
Weakness:
Lens quality. I agree 100% with one of the reviews, that a disposable takes better picture than this. My son uses disposable at every birthday part in school since he was 4, the pictures are comparable. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Canon A1, Minolta 700 |

Strength:
Good brand name, but don''''t let that mislead you. Easy to use and affordable.
Weakness:
Poor exposure; poor color; too "smart" for quick artistic shots of chaos; inconsistent quality (mostly poor); extremely disappointing. Do not buy this camera. A dozen rolls later, I can honestly say that cheap disposable cameras deliver better quality! This does not even compare to the old Nikon Zoom400 I was trying to replace.?xD;?xA;?xD;?xA;The picture clarity is usually ok but light and color are the main issues. Exposure is the worst problem with this camera. No matter what the parameters, it cannot consistently take a decent indoor picture. The worst subjects for this camera are people and artistic shots. People usually look either dark, greasy and floating in blackness (which would otherwise be a well-lit room), or else sometimes overexposed. (I consistently use ISO400 film for indoor pictures.) The vertical/horizontal focusing sensitivity is a cumbersome "advancement" which prevents me from taking many candid chaotic shots (e.g., cakes, branchy items, abstract art images). I honestly have not tried the new "macro" feature to enable these, but find it all too cumbersome in comparison to the ease I was used to with my old Nikon after ten years of regular usage. Even the color quality is poor, and I''''ve had these pictures developed anywhere and everywhere! The problems remain consistent. Outdoor shots may turn out but again, are unpredictable. My most recent photo results from Kodak occasionally contain unexplainable fuzz and light aberrations I''''ve never had in my pictures before! The imagery looks much flatter than your average zoom camera as well.?xD;?xA;?xD;?xA;I''''m shopping for a new camera. Customer Service Never contacted. Strength:
Small size, Easy to use.
Weakness:
Pictures came out really bad. The Flash was very weak. Pictures were very underexpoed! I purchased this product for my mother for Christmas. She wanted a point and shoot camera that was easy to use and would take good pictures. She did not like the big bulky 35mm SLR's that I use. So I thought that I could relie on the Nikon name, since thats what I shoot now (N90s) and I'm very pleased with it. Customer Service No Comment Similar Products Used: Cannon AE-1 Program |

Strength:
Very light and easy to use.
Weakness:
Flash is weak I'm very disappointed with this camera. My last camera was a Nikon and it lasted for around 7 years. It took great pictures no matter what. This camera takes dark pictures even if the flash is used. It doesn't focus well even if you follow the booklet. Please save your money and do not buy this camera. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
It was easy to use. Still pictures taken outside in good light at a resonable distance away came out good.
Weakness:
Everyone's eyes are red in almost every picture I take, especially my newborn baby's. I used the red eye reduction feature all the time, but it still didn't matter. Also, a lot of pictures came out blurry and sometimes too dark. Closeups never worked, even using the Macro feature didn't make the pictures come out clearer. You can't use this camera for action shots because there is a delay in the camera actually taking the picture and when you push the button. I am returning my camera today! Save your money up and buy a nicer camera or stick with the disposable camera, I got better pictures with them (never red eyes!!!). Similar Products Used: None |

Light. Easy to use.
Weakness:
Inconsistent performance. I have always been a fan of Nikon. I have used the 6006 for 5 years and it has been outstanding. The camera in review did not perform consistently for all pictures, especially in some pictures it was blurry for a half of the picture. It happened about a third of the time for every roll of film I used. Returned it and planning on getting the Samsung Maxima 145QD. Similar Products Used: Nikon N6006. Canon Z115. |

Strength:
A very good camera especially for begginers.
Weakness:
You should try to read the owners manual before you use it. In spite of the fact that i have the model of camera without quartz date the performance is great. The camera works well especially with Kodak Royal gold film an Fuji Superia series.Try to use a film of 400 iso or 200 iso.Dont believe the others is a great camera for general use ,sports and if you have problem with red eyes use an iso 400 or 800 film Customer Service Very good service. Very light and easy to use. Good quality result for outdoor.
Weakness:
Very small viewfinder, it so diffucult for glasseye person. Very weak flash (underexposed quite frequently)You can't use this camera for action shots because there is a delay in the camera actually taking the picture and when you push the button. You may missed all the great moment. It is reasonably ideal for a beginner and still you can get crisp picture for outdoor scene. I used to use Kodak Star QD zoom, it had sensalite flash type, which is good enough for most any light condition. I have never upset with my previous kodak. very sharp lens
Weakness:
none yet I have been scouring the internet sites with reviews on point and shoot cameras, and heres what I found out. The nikon was originally my first choice, but because of all the negative reviews that I read, as well as overall low ratings, I decided to go with the best according to the reviewers. The samsung and minoltas were o.k. but nothing special. I finally bought the nikon and cannot believe the razor sharp images produced by this gem. the macro works perfectly, and shots indoors were exposed just fine. I hope this review can sway a person to get this camera, because its a great buy. Customer Service not used yet Similar Products Used: samsung, minolta |
