Strength:
A little bulky but the vintage look is back. Takes great photos. Lens is sharp like all Minolta products and AF hits 95% of the time. Colors are very nice from this lens as well. Battery doesn't last as long as I'd like though, about 20 rolls of 36 exposure film. Weakness:
None that I can think of, overall a good all rather camera and a cool conversation piece. Price Paid: 65.00
Purchased: Used

Strength:
Intuitive control. Well balanced and ergonomically designed.
Weakness:
Red eye in low light.Subjects wash out whenever there is a lot of contrast in the picture. Focus problems galore ( I read the manual over and over. I thought it was me...nope) Battery door pops open. Eats batteries way too fast. Flash is way too slow. Nothing but problems with this camera. I thought it was me. I tried all kinds of film to no avail. Truly, I got better results from a disposable camera! Biggest problem is light handling and focus.(Somewhat important I think) Lucky to get 1 or 2 good shot out of a roll. Customer Service I should have called em a long time ago. I guess I was hoping it was me and not the camera. Similar Products Used: None happily |

Strength:
Lens quality, built quality, nice meter, stylish. I''m all satisfied with this camera and this camera make me be a loyal Minolta customer.
Weakness:
Bulky this is my first camera before I moved to SLR. I used it for shooting slides, and all came out nice, sharp, and correct exposures. I like the style, but it''s too bulky for P&S. Customer Service Never need one. Minolta seem like love me too. I never had defective Minolta products even if I bought it used. Freedom (RIVA) Zoom 140EX
Strength:
I didn't like this camera. The flash takes twice as long as the Olympus I had (stolen) and my two year old is never still that long.
Weakness:
The auto focus prefered the background rather than my subject. Even the camera guys as the store (Ritz) were miffed as to why. They sent it back to the factory as a possible defect. Got the new Samsung instead I took three rolls and had horrible results. The subjects if wearing white, their faces were all washed out. The only good pictures were extreme close-ups. I returned it, thank god for Ritz's return policies. Similar Products Used: Olympus zoom point and shoot |

Strength:
Sleek, simple to use. is completely automatic. Offers options
Weakness:
DIfficulty holding it firmly because of weight/hold. Some red eye. I really enjoy using it. Iit is easy to focus and almost foolproof, except for occasional red eye. Have had good success with landscape and people shots. One problem is that I wish it were a little lighter--still it is worth it. Even the film is easy to reload--a blessing for an amateur like me. All in all it makes photographing difficult subjects easy. Customer Service Haven't needed to find out. Similar Products Used: Pentax, Nikon, Olympus |

Strength:
Excellent photo quality for the money. easy control buttons, fast forward for rapid shots.
Weakness:
It is a bit bulky, when full extension on zoom hard to hold. I just completed a six week solo bicycle tour of Israel, the minolta held up through all the bouncing around and the weather. Always worked when I needed it. Shot 7 rolls of flim through this camera and only blew two frames(blurred)I moved while shooting. Customer Service No need. Similar Products Used: Vivitar PZ2000 |

Nice size & weight for bigger person. Solid. Well designed controls.
Weakness:
fairly dark, dull viewfinder Just about perfect. Paid $229 w/remote control. Slightly larger than average size which makes it easier to use with my big hands. Extremely easy controls. Sharp pictures. No red eye. Rock solid. Customer Service No need. Similar Products Used: Olympus Stylus Zoom |
