Strength:
N60 Body is lightweight and feels good in my hand. Bright Viewfinder and easy to see with me (wearing glasses)
Weakness:
No, So far Bright and big viewfinder is a great advantage using this camera. Even this camera doesn't have spot metering and multiple exposure but It's very nice metering system. Big GN Flash is usefull too. Customer Service Good Similar Products Used: Minolta Dynax 9 xi |

Strength:
This is my first SLR camera. I got a Nikon because I was told they'd provide the best optics and service. Since I didn't want to spend a lot of money, the N60 was my choice.
Weakness:
Not a single problem so far. The first battery set lasted too little, but I did a lot of experimentation with and without film loaded, firing the flash and the shuter at different speeds. I think you can't get a better body at the $300 range. The N60 is quite versatile and if you're upgrading from a p&s, this camera is just right for you. It lacks a few features, like spot metering, a cable release connection (or at least programmable self-timer), and manual ISO settings, but, as I've said, it's the best begginer's SLR your $300 can buy. Also, the lenses you'll be using with this baby will still work when you upgrade to a F5... :)) Customer Service Haven't used it by now. Similar Products Used: This is my first SLR. Strength:
Very good construction, nice auto AF feature that selects subject focus tracking when suject moves, AF asist beam.
Weakness:
No compatibility with older manual focus lenses, not able to push or pull film due to non variable DX iso settings, doesnt take advantage of ¨D¨ lenses technology. very good camera for beginners or amateurs, but its worst drawback is that you cant change the iso setting, and it can not use older Nikon MF lenses, mayor draw back for a Nikon, I think. Customer Service poor in Mexico City. Similar Products Used: N70, N6006 |

Camera felt comfortable in my hands. Consider slightly heavier weight of camera body an asset as opposed to a lighter one such as Rebel 2000. Weight provides a bit more stability when things get rocky. Takes excellent pictures using Fuji film and Fuji processing.
Weakness:
No problems. Have used at least 25 rolls of film on unit in less than ten months. I would highly recommend this unit because of the picture quality and high number of features real-world users are likely to utilize. Only feature I would like is DOF preview, but at this pricepoint I'm not satisfied having this option because option seems difficult to use in low light. Relying on experience to set aperture and very satisfied. Similar Products Used: Rebel 2000, Pentax |

I like this camera because of it's value and easy use. This is an excellent entry level camera. and I think that the N60 is very user friendly. The film loading system is excellent, and the controls and viewfinder are very easy to read.
Weakness:
Nikon really should put a PC cord on this unit. This is a great camera to buy as a first SLR. But as your photographic ability grows you might find yourself outgrowing this camera. But in all a fine product by Nikon I think I made a good purchase. Customer Service I haven't had any problems with this unit yet. Similar Products Used: Cano rebel 2000 |
