Mini Trekker Backpack
Strength:
Excellent size. Big enough for a pair of bodies and five lenses. Nice, large outer pockets provide flexibility. Good carry-one size for air travel. Excellent quality.
Weakness:
An attachment point for a tripod at the center of the pack would be nice. The shoulder straps would be better if they were wider and more contoured. This pack carries as much equipment as I would personally ever carry into the field. It's well made and mine has held up nicely through three years of use. The main section dividers are well designed to allow maximum flexibility in layout for your equipment. The large outer pockets are big enough to carry a binder or notepad if you're working in the field and they're room enough for a light jacket or miscellaneous photo gear. Customer Service Not needed. Strength:
Big, yet small... It can house most of your gear, and not feel like you're carrying a 20 gallon backpak...
Weakness:
None that I can think of... I can fit one camera-body w/ long (100-300mm) lens attaced, three shorter lenses (35-135mm, 35-80mm and a 50mm macro), filters, lens-cleaning kit, flash and lots of film (I'm talking about 10+ rolls!), and there is STILL room for more... Mini Trekker Backpack
Strength:
Size is perfect for the amount of gear that I have. A little bigger than the Tamrac Expedition series. Strap loops on the side allow for attachment of accessory pouches (Mine came with tripod straps.) Lots of room in the outside pockets. Very sturdy construction.
Weakness:
Inside accessory pockets are a little too small. A little more slack in them would be nice. Zipper folds on main compartment can fold over and get in the way. This is a great bag. I bought it carry my SLR and MiniDV format camcorder in one bag. With the amount of velcro inside and number of dividers it came with, I couldn't ask for a better fit! I got it for $110 which is a lot cheaper than the MSRP above. Shop the internet or ask a retailer to price-match like I did. Comfortable to wear and hold an incredible amount of stuff for a day pack
Weakness:
none This bag is awesome. My girlfriend and I went on a photo trip to Big Sur and fit a Pentax 645 body and lense, her Nikon with 2 macro lenses and a zoom lense, my Canon body with a 70-200 2.8 lense and 28-80 lense, a light meter, filters, and a ton of film. I'll admit it was a little tight, but I was blown away by how much we could fit in one day pack. Also, the compartments really keep the bag organized so you don't have loose lense caps and film cartridges lying everywhere. I would highly recommend this bag, especially over it's Tamrac equivalent. Customer Service none need Similar Products Used: Tamrac |

Fitted my Tokina 300mm F2.8 lens with a Nikon F4S, a Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 lens, SB24 flash, a 50mm lens, a 2x TC and 5 rolls of film in it without any problems.
Weakness:
Non so far in my 6 mths use of the bag. Probably could do better if it had an option to include tripod straps, but my tripod probably wouldn't fit into it. A great bag, leaves your hands free to shoot whilst being able to carry your gear along with you without much hinderence. If you're looking to buy just one camera bag, make this one of your considerations. I really satisfied with it's performance! Customer Service Non needed so far. For my purposes, the correct size and weight.
Weakness:
No problems, but I wish some of the belts and buckles can be detached. They're not used all the time. I just bought this, am very happy with it. Based on a shooting buddy's experience, who has used his for more than 3 years, it holds up well to use. Customer Service None needed yet. Similar Products Used: Tamrac |

Price This bag looks good, feel good, well built, fit a lot a stuff in it (even food, drink and cloths). I got the newer version now and even happier (new feature such as tripod holder, cords). Is expensive but sure is worth it. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: Last version, Tamrac |

- Build quality
Weakness:
Can't be set down upright with a tripod in the holder because it extends beyond the bottom of the bag. I first tried the previous model but couldn't stand the tripod straps (without quick-release) on the bottom of the pack. The new model has a nylon pocket that folds down from the center of the pack to hold the tripod legs and two quick-release elastic cords to hold it in place. Since access to the pack is easiest when it's on its back, the inability to set it upright isn't a big issue. Customer Service Never contacted.
