WPPI’s Second Annual Road Trip Starts This Month
Beginning Monday, August 23rd, WPPI takes its professional photography education on the road

onOne UniversityCulver City, CA (August 10, 2010) – Following its 30th anniversary this year, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) announces that its second annual WPPI Road Trip is set to begin on Monday, August 23rd. Taking the fun and excitement of its annual convention and trade show in Las Vegas, NV, and bringing it on the road to 10 major U.S. cities this August and September, the 2010 WPPI Road Trip features a full day of educational classes conducted by the hottest most sought-after speakers in professional photography today.

“Coming off our record breaking attendance for WPPI 2011 we are so excited to be brining our world-class education on the road for the second consecutive year,” said George Varanakis, WPPI’s Group Publisher and Executive Vice President. “Road Trip offers the convenience of being close to home and minimal time away from the studio so that professional or aspiring professional photographers can turn around and immediately apply what they learn to their work and business. Plus, the WPPI Road Trip provides a mid-year educational refresher like no other.”

The WPPI Road Trip full day of educational classes cover important topics such as Business and Marketing, Lighting, Posing, Wedding and Portrait photography, Photoshop and Postproduction workflows. The Road Trip takes place in the following 10 U.S. cities: Irvine, CA, Sacramento, CA, Seattle, WA, Dallas, TX, Washington, D.C., Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL, New Brunswick, NJ and Detroit, MI.

The registration rate is $149 for a full day of education, lunch, and mini trade show. Registrants can also bring a guest for $75. The Road Trip rate and guest rate also includes free registration to WPPI 2011 in Las Vegas, NV.

WPPI is the largest annual expo and conference in the United States for professional photographers. Each year more than 11,000 professional photographers gather in Las Vegas, NV, to learn from the best and see the latest and greatest products from the hundreds of exhibitors that participate in the trade show. WPPI 2011 will take place February 17-24, 2011.
