Olympus Stylus Tough 8000

Price: $250-280 |
This was the top-of-the-line waterproof, shockproof Olympus Tough camera in 2009. The new king is the 14-megapixel Olympus Stylus Tough-8010, which is waterproof to 30 feet, can take a 6-foot drop, has 720p HD video and a 5x, image stabilized optical zoom lens. I’ve already had a chance to ski, mountain bike and snorkel with the Olympus Stylus Tough-8010. Check out my hands-on preview video:

3 P&S waterproof cameras? Thanks for the inspiration.

I never break cameras. If you read the article intro again you’ll see that I didn’t pick these cameras. They’re top-viewed camera review pages on the site. I didn’t take any editorial license with this, except to mention newer versions when applicable.
