Today, Panasonic announced three new lenses for the Lumix G Series cameras on the Micro Four Thirds System standard, the Lumix G 12.5mm f/12, Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH, and Lumix G Vario 100-300mm f/4.0-5.6 MEGA O.I.S..
The Lumix G 12.5mm f/12 is the first interchangeable 3D lens with two optical systems in the lens mount for instant 3D shooting, even when shooting objects in motion. The Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH features a wide viewing angle, six lenses in five groups, three aspherical lenses, is lightweight and compact with a length of 20.5mm. The Lumix G Vario 100-300mm f/4.0-5.6 MEGA O.I.S. ultra-telephoto zoom lens features Panasonic’s MEGA Optical Image Stabilizer (O.I.S.), 17 elements in 12 groups including an ED lens, a multi-coated lens, and a stepping motor with zoom tracking control system and inner focus drive system.
The Panasonic Lumix G 12.5mm f/12, Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH, and Lumix G Vario 100-300mm f/4.0-5.6 MEGA O.I.S. lenses will all be available in November for $249.95, $399.95, and $599.95, respectively.
