This page has links to high-resolution studio sample photos taken with our 2010 Camera Of The Year, the Sony Alpha SLT-A55. We made test photos across the full sensitivity range, from ISO 100 to ISO 12,500. The images are downloadable so you can pixel peep, print and compare to your heart’s content. All sample photos were shot RAW in aperture priority at f/8 with the Sony 18-55mm kit lens using the A55′s tungsten white balance preset. The images were converted to 16-bit TIFF files at the default Adobe Lightroom settings and the logo, text and graybar were added in Photoshop before saving as maximum quality JPEGs. No post-processing noise reduction, sharpening or exposure adjustments have been applied.
