Panasonic announced the new HX-WA10 Full-HD camcorder that is waterproof to a depth of 3 meters underwater for up to 60 minutes. Along with the HX-WA10, Panasonic also announced the non-waterproof HX-DC10 and HX-DC1 camcorders.
The HX-WA10 features 16-megapixel still image capture, 1920 x 1080 Full-HD movie recording, MPEG-4 AVC file format, Backside Illumination (BSI) technology, a 2.7-inch wide LCD, 5x optical zoom and 12x advanced zoom for movie recording, Electrical Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, iA Intelligent Auto mode, a mini HDMI terminal, USB port and easy uploads to YouTube or Facebook.
The HX-DC10 features 16-Megapixel still image capture, 1920 x 1080 Full-HD movie recording, and iA Intelligent Auto mode with Face detection, Intelligent Scene Selector, Intelligent Contrast Control and AF and AE Tracking. The HX-DC1 features 14-megapixel still image capture, 1920 x 1080 Full-HD movie recording, and a 3.0-inch wide LCD.
