Panasonic Lumix ZS7 Pocket Superzoom Camera
|
Price: $399 |
The Panasonic Lumix ZS7 could be the ultimate do-it-all pocket camera. It has an incredible 12x, image-stabilized optical zoom lens (25-300mm equivalent) and tons of features – yet it still fits in a pocket, making it a great travel camera!. The ZS7 also has 720p AVCHD Lite video, full manual exposure controls, and even built-in GPS that tags your photos so you can sort and search them by location! Last year’s Panasonic Lumix ZS3 was my most-recommended point-and-shoot camera and the ZS7 looks even better – especialy for travelers who want one pocket camera that can really do it all.

If you’re looking at waterproof cameras, make sure to read our Outdoor And Waterproof Digital Camera Guide, too!
I have the Playsport.. I purchased it the day it was released so I could take it on vacation when we went to Maui, Hawaii. It certainly isn’t anything like my Canon D-SLR (40D), but for something to take to the beach or out snorkeling, it was perfect!!! The photos are pretty decent, the HD video is great, and it’s really fun to be able to take underwater video clips!! We were able to capture the sounds of the whales singing out in the water while I was snorkeling.. here’s the clip I made…
