Panasonic’s TZ Series digital cameras were the first real pocket-sized superzoom digital cameras. Other camera makers have started introducing their own pocket superzooms but Panasonic has been doing it for a while and they do it really well. The Panasonic Lumix TZ5 packs 9-megapixels of resolution, a 10x image-stabilized zoom lens and a 3-inch LCD into a very small package. Panasonic announced their latest version, the ZS3, in January. While the ZS3 does have some nice new features, it’s hard to argue with saving $100 or more on the TZ5.
