Adobe has announced Lightroom 3.4 and Camera Raw 6.4 “release candidates.” These updates add support for the Canon EOS Rebel T3i / 600D, the Olympus E-PL2, Olympus XZ-1 and the Samsung NX11 cameras as well as lens correction support for thirteen selected Canon, Leica, Sigma, Nikon and Tamron lenses. They also addresses some bugs found in previous versions of Lightroom and Camera Raw.
The new updates aren’t 100% ready to be pushed out to all Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop users, hence the “release candidate” designation. According to Adobe the, “‘release candidate’ label indicates that this update is well tested but would benefit from additional community testing before it is distributed automatically to all of our customers.”
