Strength:
Easy to use. Not very expensive as underwater equipment goes. No external strobe is required to get good Close up or macro photos.
Weakness:
The GOALI system makes changing film between dives somewhat cumbersome. You have to bring the vacuum pump with you in a dry bag in order to change the film. This camera gets great photos in the 5 inch to 4 foot range and good photos in the 4 to 10 foot range. The macro photos of small underwater objects are very clear and detailed. I have used it on 4 or 5, 7 day dive trips to Bonaire NA and have been very pleased with the outcomes. We usually shoot 24-72 shots per day. It is simple and a great, inexpensive beginning underwater photography camera. My teenage son used it last trip and it was only his second trip taking phots. He too, got some great shots. Customer Service I had touble with it flooding even with the Goali system properly indicating it was waterfroof. I called Leisure pro and they authorized its return. After 1 or 2 E-mail exchanges, They replaced it free of charge. It had been used on a JUly trip and Flooded in October. I have had no other need for service.
