Strength:
None that I can see.
Weakness:
Very wobbly, not sturdy at all, leg locks fall apart. What a piece of junk! This was my first tripod, and I was very happy to get rid of it! This tripod is too light to be sturdy, the quick release is a cheap piece of plastic that likes to twist. Customer Service Never used. Similar Products Used: Gitzo, Bogen. |

Strength:
Lightweight, Cheap
Weakness:
Not too sturdy I just got this tripod and have shot one roll of film with it. My first impression is that it is not too sturdy, even with my 50mm lens. The adjustments are simple and easy to use and wow, is it light! This is a nice light tripod for the money that I will use for traveling. You might be able to find a light tripod that is more sturdy, but I suspect it would cost much more and probably wouldn't have the features of the DF-40. Similar Products Used: Bogen |

DF-40 Tripod

Lightweight
Weakness:
Weak! Nothing sturdy about it. I bought it because it was easy to carry on an airplane. I returned from Mexico with photos that had been ruined by this tripod (camera shake even with a cable release). A total waste of money. Useless. This tripod moves at every interaction with the camera. It is simply too light. Similar Products Used: Solidex. Solid as a rock but heavy. |
