Tough, stable and reliable

Heavy and somewhat cumbersome

This is a tough piece of equipment and very reliable; however, it is a heavy piece to lug around when hiking and scaling terrain. I purchased it as a "combo" with a 3030 tilt/pan head. The combination of tripod/head is over 8 pounds which gets rather heavy after hiking a while. On the other hand, you don't have to worry about it breaking as it is one well-built piece of equipment.
