Best Tripod accessory that I have ever used. Unbelievably steady. I use it for all my cameras including a Nikon F4S with long lenses. I have a plate on each of my cameras which makes switching from one camera to another fast. There are no knobs to loosen and tighten; just press the release until it clicks(while holding the camera) and then position the new camera in the slot and press lightly. The release then snaps shut grasping the camera. Almost impossible to release by accident.
