Strength:
Inexpensive
Weakness:
Heavy, sloppy, hard to adjust. This is a case of getting what you paid for. A basic, but crude ballhead. It is hard to adjsut, the levers move very eratically, and the ball joit itself seems to jerk and shudder. However, it is a solid piece, and seems to be relatively durable. I suspect that it transmits much more than average vibration --sepecially at slow shutter speeds. The QR plate is HUGE and heavy!! Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
CHEAP!!!!!
Weakness:
Lousy ballhead, Stiff lock mechanism, bulky This is one lousy ballhead with a hard to control locks. Use a short telephoto and you have to crank the locking mechanism and release it and your equipment throws off your composition. I traded mine within few days and was really disgusted by this design. Weakness:
Panning could be a bit smoother. Excellent choice of a ball head for someone on a tight budget. Similar Products Used: Bogen 3030 and 3047 3-way heads. |
