Strength:

Well-made, protractors on all 3 axes, a bubble level and two vial levels should take care of panoram needs. Large soft rubber handles keep you from getting poked in the eye, and I suppose that's the intention.

Weakness:

Quite heavy, but if you want steady, that's the price you pay.

The Bogen 3039 is a lot bigger and heavier than the catalog photos indicate, but it's a sweeheart of a head if you prefer a 3-axis type. Very smooth in operation, and best with moderately heavy setups where its weight and stability can be appreciated. Takes only Bogen hex plates, but a hex-to-Arca adapter is available. Good for both studio & outdoor needs.

Model Reviewed: 3039 Super Pro Tripod Head

Strength:

A great head with smooth movement and the added bubble is also a great thing to have.

Weakness:

A bit heavy but I'm not complaining.

Great overall. If you need a good Tripod head at a little price this is it.
