I am new to digital printing. I read the reviews online and never believed that this printer would actually be equal or better ot chemical prints made at a pro lab. I only have a Nikon coolpix 950, but am able to print stunning 8x10s and perfect, i mean perfect, 4x6 prints. The colors are spot on. Just make sure you use the good paper. The regular Epson "photo paper" is great. For more fine arts, go with heavyweight matt or epson premium glossy. You wont be disappointed at all. This is the best printer I have ever used.

The first priter I received was defectve, so I called Epson...They apologized and overnighted me a brand new printer, and payed for all the shipping. If you want a defective product you want an Epson

This is an outstanding state of the art printer. Snappy, grainless prints without borders rival wet (conventional) prints. Without a doubt the finest inkjet printer I have ever had on my desk. The $499 price is a bargain. Borderless prints look great.

Very execellent printer, as long as you trim you prints , no one knows the difference if you printed it on your printer unless you tell them . I scan all my negs and print to the epson. Absoulutely a great printer, I would recommend it for anyone, it is also really good on ink usage for the size.
