The greatness of their weaknesses leaves no room for any strengths.

They do not pay photographer's commissions in a timely manner if at all. If you have an issue with them, you receive an automated response informing you that they will respond within one business day but that has never happened in my experience. You'll be lucky to get any response.

If you enter into an agreement with them they will not honor their side of the deal. With an F rating via the BBB and from my horrid experiences with them - run as fast and as far away from this pathetic company as you can. I have never dealt with a worse company.

Customer support for any level of membership (note: I am a pro member) is absolutely terrible. If you are lucky enough to get a live person, they will listen for a minute, then transfer you to a voicemail box. You can leave as many voicemail messages, e-mail messages, and/or support messages as you want. Printroom will NEVER contact you back. You would be better off talking to a wall. THEY DO NOT PAY THE PROFITS THAT ARE OWED TO THEIR PROFESSIONAL OR PRO MEMBERS. I have been owed over $1000 for over 5 months.

When I joined Printroom 5 years ago, the BBB rating was A+. The BBB rating is now D- with a warning to avoid their services. I do not see how the company stays in business. I will no longer be using their services any longer.

Do Not Pay photographers profit checks. Do not respond to any inquires. Do not allow you to change your acct to a free one, and continue to charge $199 membership fee even when they owe you more than $300.

Run!! Stay away from printroom. I am looking for a new hosting site- this one is not worth the head aches.

Run!!! Run as fast as you can, away from this company. They owe hundreds of photographers massive amounts of money, including myself. Just google "printroom complaints"... you will see hundreds of photographers listed on multiple websites! Do not purchase prints from them, do not host your galleries! BBB gives them an F rating!

Every time I contact them for more than $500 of profit checks that I am owed, they give me the same form letter email back. I am lucky, most photographers don't even hear back, and if you complain too much, they will block access to your own galleries so that you cannot edit or take them down or warn your clients that they should not buy from them.

Run as far away from this massive fraud as you can!!!!

I am owed pofit checks for the last 5 or 6 months with Printroom, they refuse to pay or return messages (and good luck speaking to a real person on the phone). I have recently switched to Zenfolio. My entire site has better quality, better customer service, and they pay you within 3 to 5 business days of you wanting a check, no matter the amount. I think Printroom is $20/mo? Zenfolio is $100/yr but you can get a $10 discount with my referral code N1V-EYT-1R7. Whichever company you use, I would not reccomend Printroom to anyone!!!

Easy to upload however they tend to often lose thumbnails fairly easy. Mandatory monthly uploads and organizing which can take days but found this OK imho.

Pricey! Grannies cannot pay for a 46 cent photo. Has to pay $5 minimum for a single print. Very sad. Photo quality I have to take it down by two blocks, there was just way too much red. When I questioned the Printroom in regards to this issue, they were not aware with the coloring issue, and claim printroom does not see any of the prints.... QA Issue I Suppose? Other factors to consider is the material they ship the orders with. Very thin shipping container possibly not acidfree. Great job on the review! I found this very helpful.

Got it for free like they are giving it away so I tried it. Very basic service not geared for professionals yet not priced fair for consumers.
