I was a loyal customer of ofoto for the past three years, but when I went to sign up for a photo service for my phone, I learned how terrible ofoto was at service. They told me that my Treo was not supported by their service after I paid my membership fee. When I asked for my $35 back(not that much money I agree, but it quickly became about doing the right thing here!), they told me that I was out of luck.
I never went back to them, and have since moved 30-40 of my friends away from ofoto and over to Shutterfly. And I have been happy ever since. I won't even open ofoto links, out of protest.

I really enjoy the outstanding quality that Ofoto.com provides. I did my own test on sending the same picture to two of Ofoto''s competitors and Ofoto''s pictures came out the best. I think they have an excellent quality control which catches errors in printing, such as color variations. For the $0.49 per 4x6 print seems high compared to the "cut throat" competition. But, I stick with Ofoto because of the quality.

Beware of Ofoto.com. As of April 10, 2002, they have a security flaw that may let others view and edit your photos (even those you have not shared). If you view an album, be sure to never copy that URL to anyone else. If someone else gets your URL, they can login as you. Ofoto encodes your all personal login information in the URL. All someone else has to do is log into Ofoto as themselves, and then load your URL. Ofoto will then log them into your account with no password! That means if you use Ofoto on a public computer (e.g. library), you should always delete the browse''s history--even if you log out of Ofoto. Otherwise, anyone else could come along and mess with your albums.

Very nice services. I uploaded my image files on Monday, the first time, and recieved nice photo prints on Wed. I am pretty much a film person, but I was supprised by the quality of today''''s consumer digital camera and printing technologies deliver. I definitly will use my digital camera and ofoto more often .

Quality of scans is outstanding; slide show feature is great.

CD purchase does not include high-res images; only 4x6 at 300 ppi.

Of the two services I''ve tried, Snapfish and Ofoto, Ofoto is quite superior in quality and features. Slide shows allow you to view all photos at full size in sequence without repeatedly hitting a mouse, if you wish.

A local cycling team is sponsored by Ofoto and I was tempted to try it out. After signing up and sending in my film I was surprised by the quality and timliness of this service. It''s very good, with great online tools, good paper, and incredible prices. Just the price of developing makes it worth using.

Excellent and very responsive to my only issue. Lost film, but found out later that it was the post office who didn''t pick up my mail for several days.
