Strength:
Well-organized if with paid membership.
Weakness:
This company does not care about its customers. It only cares about obtaining money in any way, shape or form they can. DO NOT sign up with them, they're not helpful, and customer service is horrible! I was a paying club member for two years, and I manually renewed my account in '09. Then, in '10, after not having used my account the entire previous year, I all of a sudden had a charge from them for a "convenient" auto-renewal. I did not ask for them to auto-renew, I did not want the service anymore, and I really don't want to pay for something I don't use. Not to mention the fact that it is illegal from their state of operations (NJ) to auto-renew without letting the customer know ahead of time that you plan to do so, and without sending me a billing statement. Now I have been trying to get my money back, and they're not really up for replying. They send the same automated message each time, and after a while they simply start ignoring you. Incredibly inflexible company which appears to utilize practices that walk a fine legal line.

Poor customer service and poor policy implementation. AWFUL marketing.
A company that begins a membership for free, then charges the customer to retrieve their own photographs is absolutely absurd and somewhat sneaky. I'll take my business elsewhere. As a semi-professional photographer I will not submit any of my works for print or recommend this website to others. Customer Service Zilch. Unlimited photo storage for "1 year".
Weakness:
Incredibly terrible and poor customer service. As such myphotoalbum is good as its free for 1st year.

Need Club member Priviliges to be able to use its best features. I was happy because it said that I was allowed to upload my pictures for free. I created 5 accounts with this email. Maybe,a year later I get emails in one of my email account saying that my account will be deleted if i don't purchase something soon. Hurriedly, I order some pictures from this album. I got an email later saying my account had been saved. Sometime later, I got emails in my other email accounts saying I have to buy something from my other myphotoalbum accounts too.. I would have to buy something from each of my 5 photoalbum accounts to save my pictures.. i tried to look for a way to merge all my account into one but could not... myphotoalbum would not allow me to download my own pictures even when I was logged in.. I emailed customer service.They were sorry that they could not help me.Soon they stopped replying to my emails.Now, one of my photoalbum account is deleted.I feel terrible.myphotoalbum sucks cuz it is overexploiting its users.. |

flexible, allows to upload photos at full resolution.
Weakness:
"free" doesn't really mean "free"... I WAS very happy with this "free" site, it allowed me to do everything I wanted to (many things which other sites did not). Until a year went by and suddenly I found out that the "free" site would actually only stay "free" after the first year if you bought something from it! That's just plain dishonest - if you want to charge for the site, say so CLEARLY at the beginning so that people don't spend a lot of time uploading photos, only to find out at the end that the site doesn't stay free... Customer Service what customer service? trying to get money from someone after telling them it's free? if you call that customer service, then I guess it just sucks. Similar Products Used: yahoo |

Quality, price, ability to share large format photos.
Weakness:
Great feature set, but too many bugs. Uploaded photos show up in the wrong albums, spontaneously move to other albums, captions disappear, albums disappear, sub-albums move to other locations. Customer services refuses to admit that they have problems and have been unable (or unwilling) to solve the problems. Online photo sharing. Customer Service Terrible.
