Model Reviewed: 7 50mm f/4.5

Strength:

Razor sharp, silky smooth, no distortion, no flare or ghosting.

Weakness:

f4.5 maximum aperture, but not a real problem.

Possibly the finest camera lens made. unbelievably sharp. Does use accessory finder, but M7 viewfinder is good approximation of lens coverage area.

Strength:

Tack sharp
Distortion?Where?

Weakness:

A tad heavy.
External viewfinder is sensitive to backlight resulting in flare in finder.

Super lens. In my setup of 50/80/150 i tend to use this one the most. Comes easy to recommend. No five stars for value at that price although I bought it "cheap" from Hong Kong. For performance 5+ stars...
