Strength:
Shart and with good contrast, low distortion
Weakness:
None so ever This is a spetacularlense! Very very sharp and with good contrast. For its focal length, the distortion is very small, smaller than the distortion I got from my 35 mm 28-70 zoom. I have found myself using it more than I anticipated. The perspectus you get from the view finder is quite different from your normal vision, and this is why I like it so much when I need to emphasize the foregroung. Customer Service No need. Strength:
A great lens for using at parties, weddings, and when you want your subjects relaxed. Extremely sharp lens.
Weakness:
Hard or impossible to work with the close-up tubes. Buy this lens if you are working in close quarters! I have all the Contax lenses except the 350 tele, and I'm saving for that. Customer Service Haven't needed any. All the Contax 645 lenses are well made and robust Similar Products Used: Hasselblad 40 mm |

Strength:
Excellent optical quality even it is a super wide angle lens, the price is cheaper than other Carl zeiss medium format super wide angle lens.
Weakness:
difficult to find other brands filter to fit its 95mm filter size, and a bit big and heavy compared with Pentax and mamiya lens. The optical quality is very good, vingertting and distortion are very minor and hard to notice. The lens hood are well built and the original contax filter doesn't affect the corner darkness. However, the sharpness at the corners are a bit soft. Customer Service No experience Similar Products Used: Mamiya 45/2.8, Pentax FA45/2.8, Pentax 67 55/4, Rollei 50/4. |
