Strength:

Wide-angel lens, sharp in the middle.

Weakness:

Not sharp in the corners at all.

I`m not happy with thies lens I would not buy it anymore, I know the 65mm is much better!
I sell it!

Strength:

Widest lens for GS-1.
well corrected for distortion.

Weakness:

I rate this lens higher than the previous reviewer. Up against the Mamiya 7II rangefinder 65mm lens (and rangefinders have a big advantage with the design of wideangles), the corners are a little soft, but sharp over the rest of the frame. In my opinion, a good lens robustly built.

Like so much GS-1 kit, it represents great value secondhand.

Pity Tamron, Bronica's owners, have not extended the lens range for the GS-1.
