Model Reviewed: Super Angulon 65mm f/5.6

Strength:

Compact but average size for lens of this type. Sharp, contrasty, no distortion. Very good with roll film and 4x5. Just covers 4x5.

Weakness:

Slowest maximum aperture in its class. Nikon is f:4.0 and Rodenstock is f:4.5.

Deciding between modern view camera lenses is more taste than raw performance. Newer designs are better. APO is higher performance than non-APO. It depends on your use. For some uses, maximum sharpness is not wanted. There are minor differences in performance between manufacturers. Other variables may matter more, such as how flat your holders hold your film, or how effective a lens hood you are using, vibration dampening, etc. The biggest differences are in color palatte and whether you want to emphasize contrast (Rodenstock) or resolution (Nikon) or a balance (Schneider).
