I bought this when I noticed a green cast to my indoor pictures taken in florescent lit rooms. Once I used this, bam, it was greatly reduced. I didn't purchase the more expensive multi-coated lens, but I'm not disappointed by the glass filter. The 80a works very well for flashless home pictures too.
