This new hyperzoom encompasses a tremendous range of focal lengths (a 10.7:1 ratio) providing exceptional flexibility of composition, and allowing one to follow the movement of a subject throughout a wide range, without having to miss great shots while changing lenses. By utilizing a multi-group cam system, this lens maintains a more consistently high level of performance throughout the focal length and focusing ranges. This hyperzoom also provides high optical performance and incredible color definition without distortions or color aberrations due to the use of special LDO (Low Dispersion Optics) and Aspherical glass. This 28-300mm lens offers excellent portability because of its compact design.
