Strength:
Compact & light
Weakness:
* Focal ratio too slow for low light (stadium-lit softball game) telephoto work This is a first zoom lens owned by me for the older manual focus OM system. I like the lens and have captured some decent images with it under ideal circumstances, but the fact that the zoom slides in and out so easily when the lens is tipped up or down makes it difficult to work with--thus pulling the overall rating down to 2 stars. The lens is inexpensive and works well for static photography, so I'll give it 3 stars on the value rating. Customer Service *Haven't required service on equipment Similar Products Used: Older manual focus, fixed focal ratio Canon zoom lens. Pentax AF "normal" zoom (variable focal ratio). |
