Strength:
Sharp, fast, durable. The macro mode at 35 focal length has come in handy. The slides have been extremely sharp in that mode as well.
Weakness:
None This is a nice lens to throw in the pack on mountain bike trips. It has survived a few hairy crashes with no problems so far. It is heavy, but the speed/extra isolation abilities makes it worth it. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Old Nikon lenses. |

Strength:
For the type of work I do this lens posesses a very useful zoom range.
Weakness:
Upon suffering what I would consider a minor impact the lens suffered a break in the internal barrel. Also while the sharpness is good to very good the contrast of this lens is a bit lacking for a product aimed at the serious/professional photographer. A very useful zoom range and very fast glass. While the contrast,in my book, is a bit flat it is still very good. Customer Service I had the lens serviced by Midwest Camera Repair. Avoid these people like they have The Plague.
