Strength:
In the range 100-200mm good contrast and colours. Nice bokeh. Fast AF.
Weakness:
Unacceptable sharpness over 200 mm. Revolving front part. Plastic bayonet. This lens was my first long telezoom and after some month of tests and experiments i was disappointed. In the range 100-200 mm is not to bad, sharpness, contrast and colours are enough, but in the range 200-300 mm its sharpness I can't accept. Maybe for other photographer it would be acceptable, but for me setting 300mm is most important, because my main subject is nature. I think, that its drawbacks are typical as for all unexpensive long telezooms of Canon (f.e. all 75-300). Similar Products Used: Canon EF 100-300/4.5-5.6 - better, but not much
