DESCRIPTION

The Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f/2.0 SL-II Manual Focus Lens is an ultra-compact, manual focus lens with high-quality traditional construction, classic styling and modern optical lens technology. This lens is part of the SL II series, which feature a CPU to support 3D Matrix metering and flash metering on all SLR and DSLR cameras. The CPU also allows the aperture to be controlled by the camera's command dial. Minimum focus distance is 1.25' (38cm) with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:7. It's supplied with a dedicated close-up lens, which decreases the minimum focusing distance to 0.8' (25cm), and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4. On an APS-C DSLR camera, the 40mm focal length is effectively converted to 60mm (35mm equivalent).
