The Vivitar Series 1 13mm Ultra Wide Aspherical Lens has Super Spectra coated hybrid aspherical optics for reduced aberrations, flare and ghosting for clear image captures with accurate color rendition. This lens is compatible with both film and digital SLR cameras. It is so compact (3.2", 81mm long) and lightweight (15.3 oz, 434 g) the Series 1 13mm f/2.8 is suitable for a broad range of photo opportunities whether you are traveling, or on vacation shooting indoors and outdoors. With a minimum focusing distance of only 12" (30.5cm), try moving in really close to your subjects. With a portrait or a still life, for example, you can capture your subject with a very unique perspective. At its widest focusing distance you can capture beautiful photos of landscapes, nature, architecture, groups of people and much more.
